January felt like home.

January has been THE busiest month for MMH, which has been all about consistency & courage. I was apprehensive about how things would feel work wise without my outdoor classes but it’s been amazing. Allowing myself to feel proud & grateful ❤️

🏋🏽‍♀️I’ve been running a 28 habits challenge with some of my Team Happy gang. All about consistency over the month rather than unsustainable intensity that burns out. What my coaching is all about.

🎙️ I’ve started my podcast. It continues to be pretty scary putting myself out there like this & I haven’t really mentioned it much on here, but I’m feeling the fear & doing it anyway, consistently. If you’ve listened- thank you. I was also (blink & you’ll miss it) on local BBC radio- which I’m proud of myself for saying yes to.

🎶Back at choir which I’ve loved. Remembering back when I started in April last year & it was so hard to turn up for myself consistently. But it’s paid off & no I have no qualms about singing the wrong words loudly & out of tune with a very large group of lovely people.

💪🏽Fat loss continues. Slowly. I’m consistent but having to really ride the hormonal waves.

🧘‍♀️ Had an amazing day out at a Somatics workshop in Hebden Bridge. I’m working on feeling more embodied after Jim’s death & wanting to iron some postural imbalances that have become evident recently following my knee injury. It’s not easy but it’s wonderful.

🤓 I’m studying 2 courses, a mindfulness one & a pre/post natal one.

💫I’m feeling fitter & loving my training. I have managed a 20 minute run on my knee. An MRI has shown it is a meniscal tear so I’m it very gently & building up slowly as recovery can take years & it’ll always be delicate. Putting in the slow & steady work now & dreaming of powering up fells again in time.

🌱🌷Can’t believe we’re in February already & excited for signs of spring.
