I had some photos taken recently…

I had some photos taken recently but I’ve been a bit nervous about sharing them, even though I’m actually really pleased with them.

The reason I wanted to get some professional photos done is that I’ve got sick of taking selfies all the time to promote my work or asking my (very reluctant) husband or poor friend to take a photo. It all feels a bit cringe.

I’ve realised it’s no good for my own body image or mental health because, even though I never use filters on pictures I post on here, I’m one hundred percent guilty of taking 10 snaps & then only using the one that shows me at the ‘right’ angle. I don’t want to do that anymore. I don’t think it’s helpful for anyone who is trying to improve their relationship with their body or get more comfortable in their own skin.

I also want to spend less time on my phone & concentrate on experiencing life more- taking less photos & being more present.

I feel quite exposed posting these photos of me, but they mark an exciting change in the direction of work I’ve been doing since the beginning of the year since I stop being a fitness instructor & have begun to focus solely on Online Coaching.

They’re not the usual style of picture that you’d see from a Health & Fitness Coach. No fake tan, shredded muscles, skimpy outfits, bum or boobs. But hey, I’m not your usual Health and Fitness Coach .

I’m hopeful this marks another step forward in how I educate & empower women about wholesome & holistic health, fitness & well-being online.

Thanks for your support .
