Things my daughter won’t hear me saying in the next few weeks…

*Diet starts in January

*I’m being naughty/bad eating this

*I look/ feel fat

*I’ll work out tomorrow/today to burn this off/earn this

Our body image is created by 2 main things - past influences & current influences.

If we grow up around someone who is overly concerned with what they eat/ how much they weigh/what they look like, this may teach us that our appearance is the most important thing about us- which isn’t something I believe AT ALL.

Make sure your actions align with your values.

Working on your own relationship with food, exercise and your body doesn’t stop because it’s Christmas time. Use this period as a time to get curious about how you feel and why you feel it.
