”I’ve always struggled with my weight because I’ve got an under active thyroid and have never really felt confident in gyms. I always felt like the puffing fat kid at the back.
I followed Beth on Instagram and loved her motivational posts and saw that she was doing workouts on Kendal Green. The idea of being outdoors really appealed to me, and so I gave it a go - and I’ve been going ever since. They are fun and we all have a laugh rolling around in the mud and exercising together whatever the weather”
”I also decided to have a go at some strength training 1-2-1 with Beth, and that has also been excellent. I feel much stronger and in control of my body. Beth also helped my confidence with a long-term ambition of doing some open water swimming, which I now love. I even took the plunge on Christmas Eve (it was freezing). I would never have done something like that before”
”The net result of all this is that exercise is now something I enjoy. I’ve lost a bit of weight, I feel stronger, I move differently and I’ve had a go at new ways of exercising”.
